It can mix solid and liquid ingredients continuously and thoroughly, and the throughput can be adjusted from 50 g/h to 5 kg/h. The detachable control panel allows operating the extruder in a fume-hood or glovebox, and all product contact parts are made from CPM® steel to reduce the risk of metal abrasion. The feed port, barrel, screw, and die can be detached with just one tri-clamp connection, making cleaning and prevention of cross-contamination quick and easy.

Thanks to its high shear force capability, the Energy 11 Twin-Screw Extruder significantly reduces solvent usage during mixing, cutting it from typically 60% down to 15%.
