Our line of micro-compounders with conical twin-screws are ideal for research and development in polymers, pharmaceuticals, biosciences, and nanotechnology. They can be used to compound as little as 5 grams or 7 milliliters of material, making them a cost-effective option for working with expensive or small-scale materials. You can continuously extrude very small material volumes by using the optional force feeder attachment.

The micro-compounders are based on proven conical twin-screw technology and operate as standalone units with data export capability. This allows you to easily track and record your experimental results. The residence time is well defined due to the channel and bypass valve design, which ensures accurate and reproducible results.

To gain a more complete understanding of the process parameters, you can use the micro-compounders in combination with our HAAKE™ MiniJet Pro Injection Molder. This allows you to prepare and test samples of your compounded material, which can help you to optimize your formulations and processes.
