SPECIMEN PREPARATION
The preparation of the specimen or test pieces contributes a very important role in the rubber and plastic testing and it is important that the test results should not reflect the effects of the preparation but the properties of the materials being tested. Temperature conditioning of the test material is also an important part of the preparation.

Specimen Preparation Equipment
The EP 08 Cutting Press is used for preparation of rubber and plastic test specimens by punching.
The ELASTOCON EP 02 Pneumatic Cutting Press is used for preparation of rubber and plastic test specimens by punching.
Elastocon offers EP 04 cutting dies in both standard and specialized shapes. A specific shank is used to mount them on EP 02 and EP 08 presses.
The EP 10 specimen cutting dies from Elastocon are versatile for punching various materials. A thinner knife is inserted into plywood and can be made in custom shapes.
The EP 03 Specimen Rotating Knives are designed to provide precision and efficiency when cutting test specimens from sheets or finished products. Their sharp blades ensure that you obtain high-quality samples for various tests, including compression set, stress relaxation in compression, and abrasion.
