Rotor Mill P-14
The FRITSCH rotor mill P-14 combines impact, shearing, and cutting comminution in a single, high-performance instrument. It features a powerful motor capable of speeds up to 24,000 rpm, enabling rapid processing of soft to medium-hard, brittle, fibrous, and temperature-sensitive materials with exceptional throughput. The mill’s advanced cooling system and airflow design minimize heat buildup, preventing melting or sticking of samples. Notably quieter than comparable devices, the P-14 is ideal for pilot plant-scale comminution, especially in the plastics industry. Its unique design allows easy conversion from a rotor mill to a cutting mill by simply changing rotors and accessories, enabling efficient pre- and fine comminution of soft to hard-tough, fibrous materials and plastics with feed sizes under 10 mm. The use of FRITSCH Cyclone separators further enhances throughput and cooling, making the P-14 a versatile, efficient, and reliable solution for diverse milling applications
