The LabVac series consists of laboratory hot platen presses designed to create a vacuum inside the press chamber, preventing oxidation and contamination by oxygen or other gases. This vacuum environment also improves bonding and curing, resulting in superior specimen quality. Models range from 50 to 1000 kN closing force, with temperatures up to 300°C, ensuring accurate and consistent results across all settings. The built-in vacuum pump in the support table generates a low-pressure environment (30–40 mbar), allowing testing in oxygen-free atmospheres or with inert gases like nitrogen or argon. An air outlet connects easily to exhaust systems to remove gases from the chamber. The LabVac is equipped with the ProView control system, featuring a 15-inch touchscreen for precise control of pressure, temperature, and vacuum parameters. Users can operate the vacuum manually or via programmable recipes. After pressing, the chamber can be quickly vented with air. The large touchscreen display enhances user experience by providing clear process visibility and control.
