PTF 110 / PTF 210 / PTF 310 Friability Testers
The PTF 110, PTF 210, and PTF 310 are part of Pharma Test’s friability and abrasion testing series designed for pharmaceutical quality control and laboratory applications. The PTF 110 is a single-drum system, the PTF 210 features a dual-drum configuration, and the PTF 310 provides a triple-drum setup for higher testing capacity. All models are manufactured in compliance with USP <1216>, EP <2.9.7>, and JP <14> pharmacopeia standards.
These instruments are used to determine the friability and abrasion resistance of uncoated tablets by measuring weight loss after controlled rotation in test drums. The systems support programmable test duration or number of revolutions, providing flexibility for different testing requirements.
Designed for modern QC laboratories, the PTF series includes user and method management, integrated calibration programs, USB data export, and optional analytical balance connectivity for automated or manual weight recording. An integrated protocol printer supports full documentation of test results
