Vibratory Micro Mill PULVERISETTE 0
The FRITSCH Vibratory Micro Mill PULVERISETTE 0 is ideal for fine grinding of medium-hard, brittle, moist, or temperature-sensitive samples, either dry or in suspension. It’s also suitable for homogenizing emulsions and pastes and recommended for RoHS test sample preparation. Grinding occurs through electromagnetic vibrations that cause the mortar to oscillate, transferring energy to the grinding ball. Initially, coarse particles are broken down by the ball’s impact, followed by fine particle comminution through friction as the ball tumbles. The impact energy is adjustable, allowing precise adaptation to different samples. The mill supports cryogenic grinding with the FRITSCH cryo-box for embrittling difficult materials. It can also convert into a sieve shaker for particle size analysis. The robust mortar and grinding balls come in various materials to suit sample types, ensuring efficient, loss-free, and reproducible grinding results.
