Planetary Micro Mill PULVERISETTE 7 Classic Line
The PULVERISETTE 7 classic line, equipped with two working stations, is perfect for fast, uniform, and ultra-fine comminution of very small samples, including hard, medium-hard, brittle, and moist materials, down to colloidal fineness. Grinding can be performed dry or in suspension, depending on the desired final particle size. Beyond comminution, this planetary ball mill is also ideal for mixing and homogenizing emulsions and pastes. The grinding bowl, containing the sample and grinding balls, rotates on its own axis while simultaneously rotating in the opposite direction on a main disk. This motion generates centrifugal forces up to 50 g at speeds up to 800 rpm, causing the balls to impact on the sample and bowl walls, effectively reducing particle size through high-energy collisions and friction.
