Ideal for pilot plant-scale milling in the plastics industry, the P-14 easily converts into a cutting mill by swapping in a cutting rotor, allowing fast, efficient pre- and fine comminution of soft to hard-tough fibrous materials and plastics. This versatile two-in-one mill ensures superior performance and flexibility for diverse sample preparation needs.

The FRITSCH Variable Speed Rotor Mill PULVERISETTE 14 classic line efficiently grinds soft to medium-hard, brittle, fibrous, and temperature-sensitive materials, widely used in trace analysis. It features adjustable speeds from 6,000 to 20,000 rpm for tailored processing. Extremely sensitive samples like styrenes or plastics can be embrittled with liquid nitrogen before grinding. An automatic speed compensation optimizes milling while minimizing thermal stress, ensuring precise, reproducible results for diverse applications.

The FRITSCH Cross Beater Mill PULVERISETTE 16 features a rotor speed adjustable between 2,000 and 4,000 rpm, ideal for fast, gentle pre-crushing and fine grinding of medium-hard, brittle materials up to Mohs hardness 6. It handles feed sizes up to 25 mm and operates batchwise or continuously. Standard equipment includes a 5-liter collecting vessel with filter hose, with a 30-liter option available. Final fineness depends on sieve selection and material properties, often reaching below 100 µm after the first step. For safety, the mill’s quick-clamping lock triggers a motor brake if opened accidentally, ensuring secure operation in labs, pilot plants, and industry.
