PELLET & POWDER ANALYZERS


The OCS Pellet and Powder Scanners are used as laboratory materials contamination analyzers or purity scanners for quality control and safety. They can alternatively be integrated into online systems to monitor polymer quality during production and improve process control. All testing systems are equipped with high-resolution cameras and special lighting functionality to ensure the best possible product quality scanning.

The pellets scanner has high resolution camera with special lighting systems for detection of contamination or impurities such as black specks, burn mark, discolouration defect, fibre and etc. Besides detection of contamination, the instrument can be coupled with particle size and shape analyser for rapid analysis and classification of size and shape of samples. It detects sample shape, size, diameter, elongation, roundness, or convexity. This will give an exact classification of colour, shape and size characteristics.

The Pellet Analysing System (PA66), which is equipped with spectrophotometer or UV-VIS spectrometer, can determines L.A.B. values, yellowness index and various other colour properties.
