The mill’s grinding set, consisting of a ring and puck, oscillates horizontally on a vibrating plate, applying intense pressure, impact, and friction to the sample. Unlike conventional mills, force transmission to the material is more critical than motor power. FRITSCH uniquely developed a special motor with an interference-resistant, torque-optimized frequency converter that meets global safety standards. This technology precisely matches motor output to the grinding material and set, optimizing energy use. The PULVERISETTE 9 offers safe, simple tensioning of the grinding set and a well-designed drive concept, making it highly efficient and user-friendly for demanding laboratory applications.
